WELCOME BACK!
We are so glad to be starting another school year with all of you, and we know this year will be a FABULOUS one!
Our school hours have changed by 5 minutes, they are as follows:
8:35 - Supervision begins
8:50 - Entry Bell
10:30 - 11:10 - First Nutrition Break
12:50 - 1:30 - Second Nutrition Break
3:10 - Dismissal Bell
3:25 - Supervision ends
We have had a fabulous first few weeks back at school. Thank you to our staff, our students and our families for making it so successful. With reorganization now completed, students will begin with their new classes on Wednesday September 26th.
MASKS: Mask wearing is NO LONGER MANDATORY for students. Should you choose to have your children wearing masks, please know that they can do so in a safe and inclusive school environment.
BUSING: Please continue to check haltonbus.ca for late buses. We do not control the bus routes or schedules. If you do have any questions about busing, please contact Mrs. Wison at wilsona@hdsb.ca
LUNCH/FOOD: Please remember that for the safety of everyone, we are a NUT FREE school. All food garbage from snacks and lunches will be coming home to reduce our school garbage and recycling.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Wilson sent the Annual Review of Medical Information form to parents, please ensure you have returned it. If your child has a life threatening allergy and you have not informed the school yet, please email Mrs. Wilson at wilsona@hdsb.ca.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES: Students will be provided with all school supplies for the school year. Many students like to have their own set of supplies brought from home, this is not mandatory as we do provide the students with what they will need for the school year. If there are addition supplies needed, the classroom teacher will communicate that to the students.
LOCKERS: Lockers will be assigned to students this year and will be shared. Please DO NOT send your child to school with a lock. Our students do not need to lock their lockers.
PHONES: Personal cell phones are not normally permitted in the school. You may, however, choose to send your child to school with a phone, however, students will then be advised to leave their cell phones in their lockers for the duration of the day.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We are very excited for this school year and to look forward to another AMAZING year of learning!
